on United States policy towards Iran.

Local Iranian-Americans from Van Nuys and Sherman Oaks joined Iran Experts, Human Rights Activists, Religious
Leaders, and concerned citizens in the Van Nuys, Library to explore practical and popular strategies to confront extremist
Islam while facilitating a democratic change in Iran.

New York City
CSDI members participated in a Rally Outside U.N. Headquarters in New
York to urge international support for tougher sanctions against the Iranian
regime. The ally also called for supporting the Iranian Resistance headed by
the National Council of Resistance of Iran.

California Iranian-Americans participated in the first ever National Convention for a Democratic, Secular Republic in Iran.
Thousands of Iranian diaspora gathered in the historic Daughters of America (DAR) Constitutional Hall to call for tougher
U.S. Policy on Iran and urged the United States government to recognize the legitimacy of the Iranian Resistance.
